Go gatherer for the more consistent gil gains. Mining is a good starting point with this. Different ore's can be gathered as you progress. Higher your gathering/perception rating, better it will be. You may want to level blacksmith though, just for making ingots etc, but that's optional. Easy enough to do, but needs a bit more patience. Moving on.

Sellspade. I hope this is in the correct forum. I have the Mining Leveling quest Sellspade where I need to mine 10 HQ mythrite ore. However even after leveling to 56 they still have a 0% on HQ and I can't figure out how to get it to go up. Please help.
Level 41 to 43 Gather Jade until rank 43 after completing the level 40 Miner Quest. Level 42 to 45 Gather Raw Turquoise or Electrum Ore until rank 45 while completing the level 45 Miner Quest. Level 46 to 50 Gather Basilisk Egg or Cobalt Ore until rank 50, then do the level 50 Miner Quest.
The slowest part of leveling Blacksmith will be from level 50 to level 53. Players will need to continue grinding to to unlock new recipes. The leves available in Foundation are rather slow for grinding EXP, with With Bearings Straight requiring a HQ Mythrite Nugget, which can be difficult to make.
